House of Rastafari is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that provides life-affirming personal development, nutritional, cultural, and arts programs to transform the lives of poor, under-served, and at-risk youth in New England and Africa. Our programs and services have a proven track record of educating and empowering youth to use their knowledge, talents, and skills to enrich and uplift their communities.
After nearly a decade of working to inform and inspire youth, House of Rastafari is at a crossroads. We need both your financial and moral support as our organization begins its venture down a new path.
Over the next few years, we plan to increase and enhance our programs and services in order to serve more youth. We also hope to expand our reach by engaging in youth and community development initiatives in the Motherland (Africa). We’re especially excited about our plans to build a school in the Bignona Casamance village in Kafountine, Senegal. As we discovered during our recent travels to the village, the youth of Bignona Casamance have a deep desire and crucial need to access educational opportunities that will exercise their minds, increase their potential, and eventually help them improve the entire community.

Though our com- munities have been ravaged by poverty, illness, dysfunction, and misinformation, it’s never too late to give our youth the tools they’ll need to rebuild those communities.
